CAPA Realist Evaluation Project

“Transforming Care in Nova Scotia: Implementation of Health System Change in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Addictions”

The Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) is a model that was built to transform the way child and adolescent mental healthcare is delivered. CAPA aims to put the young person and their caregivers at the centre, which means that care providers work with the young person to reach their goals in a collaborative way. CAPA also helps make mental healthcare delivery smoother for the young person, their caregivers, and the people providing care.
